What about Jason Day? Approach into Cobbs Creek, then chunks the drop short into the rough on the par 5 (chips in for bogey). That was a chance to put pressure on Rose.

If Sergio was playing 1 free back nine Mully, he might have been right there in contention. I think he gave away 14 shots (?) on 14 and 15? And he finished at +15.

There was a bit of room. 2,3,4,5 and 8 are pretty much on top of each other (I think they shifted the 2nd fairway closer to the road), but you could get left of two and there was some room around the 3rd green. 4/9 green was a popular spot.

There were some other spots, you could get right of 11, there was some room around 16.

It’s no TPC.

Good recap, thanks. Ukee Washington reference absolutely slayed me. Is there actually room between any of the holes to watch or are you limited to a few grandstands here and there? I’m thinking in particular of that one part of the property where the fairways and greens for 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 are squeezed into about sixty yards.

How many annoying stories about the wicker baskets will we have to endure?

I agree, it could get very ugly out there if the rain keeps up. Going to be hard for the course to survive if it isn’t fast and these guys can go right at pins with no regard for holding the green. Look out below….
